If you go with a 22x8.5, you can probably get away with just cranking the torsion bars up 2" and leaving the stock rear block as is. If you go with something wider, like a 22x10 or 22x11, then you'll need more lift. WebAug 23, 2024 · Technically I'm 295/55/20 which is just shy of a 33" tire, and about 11.5" wide. But the height isn't the problem for me, the width is for turning, and required trimming. I believe the wheel wells are larger on the newer body styles, and you could easily achieve what your looking to do without a 4.5" lift, and just do a level kit.
