WebThe Shield doesn't support hi-res multichannel audio output. Multichannel is limited to 16-bit 48kHz. Have no idea whether this has changed in the "N" update. It seems to work only with players that can utilize the NuPlayer (Google Music, MX Pro etc.). I have tried Neutorn player and it didn't work with that.
