WebAdditionally, please not always use a fan with PETG as it tends to cool the filament in the hot end and help you with retractions. Also, you are recommended to keep your retraction speed slow at 40mm/s or less. Application of around one coat of Wolfbite by painting on cold glass with long strokes is strongly recommended. WebFeb 12, 2024 · Stringing is definitely the zero fan, and I agree with the glue stick (NOT hairspray) on the PEI sheet, easier to pop off. If it's really stuck don't force it, just freeze it for a couple mins, it'll pop off then. Beware if minor partial clogs. I found PETG seems to not like to properly purge the previous filament. Weird. Do a cold pull to check.
